Whatβs up, Camillus?
Just enjoying some beep beep, clank clank, idle idle, crash crash, gas gas, shake shake from the construction equipment this morning.
A friend of mine sent me over a post that what was pretty on the nose. I had to laugh
I am sure the West Genesee Board of Education Corporation made sure there would be βNO IMPACT.β β More on that coming.
We never get wind over here anyway. π€£
My favorite classes during my time over at West Genesee, you know, before it was a βbrand,β were Social Studies, History, Economics, and Creative Writing.
They were fairly easy for me. I tended to retain the information. I am not saying I was a whiz kid or anything, just talking about subjects I enjoyed.
But the classes I dug the most were Military History 1 and 2, and the same with, I think, Classical Studies 1 and 2: ancient mythology, governments, etc.
These classes were taught by a tough little lady named Ms. Dunham, though I am not sure if I have the spelling right.
Ironically, she may have inadvertently prepared me for all of this.
One day, the admins kept interrupting her class over the PA. She went to her desk, handed me a screwdriver, and told me to get on the desk and remove the PA speaker from the ceiling.
I was in shock, but I did it. The wires were still connected. She motioned for me to hand it to her, and she ripped the speaker away from the wires and threw it on her desk. "now that wont happen again"π€£
This lady was my hero, and I immensely enjoyed her classes.πͺ
So this is where I learned about Camillus being named after a Roman general, and about the ancient gods, etc.
One god that fits this topic is Aeolus, the god of wind.
The above post has inspired me to think about doing some landscaping back here.π
Maybe even some burnt offerings. What do you think ? βοΈπ€ I dig it....
I sure hope West Genesee does not find it offensive.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
