I was watching the video of the David C. Bills and the Board of Taxation and Construction.

It was cool to see people ask real questions, it seemed a decent amount of people were starting to see whats up.

"The District is presenting conceptual plans created in conjunction with the District's architect. Detailed plans are not finalized prior to the vote as the vote is to authorize the funding and general scope."

I was going to go, but then I realized something again.

The guy can say whatever he wants during the Q&A.
Unless you’re tracking every move — and filing FOIL requests for everything (I’ll get into that more later) — it doesn’t really matter what he says.

Because at the end of the day, he’ll still go out and buy another $100K+ lit sign,
and then turn around and show you pictures of crying kids to justify why “the road needs to be fixed, and they cant have a playground”

That $100K+ Bills board? It was not so quietly put into the “Other” category.

So what happens when the next millions get spent?
Because they will be — and almost certainly however he sees fit.

I’ve heard David C. Bills has been giving talks at senior living centers, which is just… wow.

Salespeople are going to be salespeople I suppose.

I’m sure he was pitching how STAR “protects” them, walking through how to use government programs to offset the impact — LOL.

But honestly, my conscience would feel a little dirty telling any senior:

“We’re going to raise your taxes… but don’t worry, you can apply to lower them again with this other program.”

And I’m sure it wasn’t just for the vote. Of course not.

Mr. Dr. CEO “No Inventory” Bills will probably be back again soon —
maybe with cake… and who knows, maybe even a karaoke show!!

I mean David C. Bills is just going to increase your taxes every year he possibly can. Again he will not be affected, he and his board will just give themselves a raise.

So as some people wanted me to correct about the CEO and assistants salary. $230,000 Tax payer dollars per year,and the 175,000 assistant does not include all of the perks I am sure they get. Cars, Gas , Etc.

I again just state this to understand the machine that poweres these people. Also understand no inventory for 7 years Bills got a raise for it.

Sure.
They can.

“it’s legal” and “it’s right” are not the same conversation.

Not long ago, in various places, property laws were written in ways that made it extremely difficult for homeowners to remove squatters from their own homes.

It was technically legal.

That didn’t make it just.
It didn’t make it reasonable.
And it certainly didn’t make it feel right to the people living through it.

Those laws only changed after sustained public pressure and meaningful pushback.

Legality is a floor.
It is not a moral high ground.

Well things don't change , if nothing changes.. and up until the last vote it was the first time that crew was ever told no.

I saw a post from individuals practically praising “Mr., Dr., Mr., CEO” David C. Bills while talking about relief for elderly taxpayers.

They included helpful links, emphasizing how much they “care.” Then came the follow-up post thanking the original author. It’s a social media tag team.

Trust me when someone sells you something and then immediately tells you about government programs to help financially relieve you of the thing they just sold you, that’s not compassion.

That’s an infomercial.
And not even a good one.

David C. Bills would use eminant domain if it was available to him,
and he would write

"Community"

on the side of the bulldozers.

No matter what way the vote goes.

I still have a ton of work to do overall for whats coming to this neighborhood.

I am considering starting to use this site for other peoples stories as well, and assist getting google visibiliy to others issues as well. I have a ton of ideas and the ability to make them happen, lets see if I can find the motivation.

There is no way that these people have not tromped on others.
