WG BOE Open Forum <--

I just got the WG Communicator, where they talk about their BOE Retreat and “Open” Forum. I’ve learned to look at everything WG sends period (will illustrate soon) high suspicion.

I’ve considered going to this thing, but I already know it would just be another waste of my time.

Of all the things in this piece, the one that cracks me up the most is this part:

“Please refrain from repeating an issue or a comment that already has been spoken about.” Followed by:

“The obligation of the Board is to listen to all comments and take them under consideration. Discussion, debate, or voting does not take place at this time.”

So let me get this straight: if ten people have the same issue, only one person can speak to it? Seriously? Yet they claim, “The obligation of the Board is to listen to all comments.”

How do you even get a consensus?

But don't worry...THERE WILL BE NO VOTING ANYWAY.

I am sorry maybe there are better humans than Mr.Dr.David C. Bills over there, but whatever system you are a part of . I am sure like me you would rather just live your life.

I’m betting the phrase “brand awareness” has made its way into the halls of power over there, but apparently not the word “optics.” I know I’m late to the party on the pure madness of a government within our government actually having power over the youth of this nation (or at least this state).

But who knows maybe one day I show up just to watch to see how a well oiled "open" machine works.
